TV Wall Mount Brackets - What You Need to Know to Install a TV Wall Mount

Getting a new TV is exciting and mounting it to the wall will ensure that it is safely out of the way of harm, as well as being convenient to view from most angles in your room.

Next, using your stud sensor, locate the wall studs behind the drywall where you will be hanging your tv. You need to mount your tv wall mount bracket into solid wood (studs), not just drywall, or your tv will fall right off the wall as soon as you hang it up.

Mark the stud location with your pencil with a small "x". Next, measure the vertical distance between the screw holes on the mount. After you determine this measurement, place the mount against the wall over the mark you made previously for your stud location just about your height measurement from the floor.

Using your level, check that the location will be level once you screw the tv wall mount in. Using large screws - #14 is recommended, pre drill your holes. Next, attach the mount to the wall stud with the screws. Check again with your level to make sure it is actually level. At this point, you can decide if you would like to run your cables through the wall. Get this done first before you go further.

Once your mount is level and the cables are run, you are ready to hang your TV. There are rubber mounts on the back of most tvs that attach them to your wall mount. Hang your tv on the mount and allow it to settle securely into place. Double check to make sure your tv is securely in place before you let go of it.

You may spend a little on this, but just like what the cliché says, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Multi channel also known as surround sound speakers are entire speaker systems that encircle the listener, immersing them in the sound from the movie or audio source. Front right and left speakers are your first consideration. These front speakers can be wall or shelf mounted or utilise floor stands. These speakers generally provide the main elements of the audio and should be positioned to either side of your television set, providing a decent spread for the frontal audio. Think here about how you would typically place a set of stereo speakers.

Next a centre speaker is an important consideration as it will manage the majority of the conversation or vocal from your source material. The centre speaker is situated above or below your Television set. A higher quality central speaker is often a wise purchase for clarity of dialogue in your sound. The subwoofer or bass unit would be seated on the floor and commonly in a corner location to exaggerate the bass sound. The subwoofer provides extra oomph to lower frequency audio such as rumbling thunder and deep explosions. The rear on the bass speaker is commonly where wires are connected, i.e. an independent power cord as well as in some systems the satellite speaker cables. However from the home cinema viewpoint surround sound receivers generally handle the satellite speaker connections directly.

Whatever system set-up you choose the important thing to remember is positioning from the listeners perspective and compatibility. It's no good choosing speakers that operate at 4 ohms for surround sound receivers with a 6 or 8 ohm requirement.

1. Respect the phone customer. The first step to increasing your phone effectiveness is to decide to treat your phone opportunities with the same respect as your walk-in opportunities. Phone customers tend to be even better prospects. When someone has had dialogue with you and begins a sales process that creates trust, your chances of closing the sale and making a higher commission go up.

2. Stand up while taking or making a phone call, because you increase your ability to breathe and to use your legs and upper body to create body language. Why does body language matter if they can't see you? When people can't see you and they lose one of the most effective forms of communicating, they need to be able to see you in their mind's eyes. When you stand up, you will gesture more, use more voice inflection and voice tone and be a much better communicator than if you sit.

3. Smile before you dial or pick up the phone. Allow the customer to hear and see you through the phone. Give them the excitement that will allow you to stand apart from other sales people. Who do you think they will choose to see?

4. Think like a customer. Share an attitude of servitude with your customer. The origin of the word sell is to serve.

5. Ninety percent of sales opportunities are lost in the first 10 seconds because the sales person has not created a direction for the call by immediately asking questions. Ask questions about the vehicle he or she is buying and about the vehicle he or she is driving now. Use the answers you get to create dialogue and rapport with the customer.

6. Get the customer's number, name and set an appointment. Do these next three things and you will accomplish what the majority of sales people never do. Ask the customer if he or she is calling from home or work and get that number. Ask the customer to spell his or her first and last name. Ask the customer if he or she will be available to come in and look at the vehicle and get some figures this afternoon or evening. Give the customer an assumptive, alternative choice.
